ICG Emerging Cinematographer Awards 2013: Michael Alden Lloyd

ICG Emerging Cinematographer Awards 2013: Michael Alden Lloyd

“The Secret Number” was one of the most intriguing shorts screened at the ICG Emerging Cinematographers Awards. With a great premise and masterful cinematography, it’s no wonder it was chosen. The latter is due to the talent of Director of Photography Michael Alden Lloyd.

Lloyd has had the honor of an ICG award not just once, but twice. Last year he received an honorable mention, but this year however he won for his film, “The Secret Number”.

Lloyd shares how he became involved in the production and his experiences on set, as well as breaking down one of the most interesting sequences I’ve ever seen. He also shares a little bit about his past works, and what he looks for in his projects.
